Paras Chhabra is a model and an actor who first started his career by getting featured in the dating reality TV show Splitsvilla and subsequently winning in that particular season. He then went on to participate in Bigg Boss 13.  

With over 1 million followers on Instagram, Paras is also a fashion icon for his followers. 

We caught up with him recently to learn more about his whimsical fashion aesthetic.

1. What is your personal style statement like? 

I think it would be a lot of shirts and a bunch of rugged jeans.

2. A style icon that you take inspiration from?

It would have to be Ranveer Singh for his quirky style.

3. What's your go-to date night outfit? 

A perfect date night would consist of a black or white shirt, a pair of rugged jeans, and my favourite pair of coke white sneakers.

4. One wardrobe staple that you can't do without?

My statement watch. I never fail to add it to my OOTD.

5. What's the one fashion trend you don't understand? 

There are many bizarre trends out there, it is difficult to just choose one from the lot. 

6. Boots or sneakers?

Undoubtedly sneakers.

7. Minimalism or maximalism?   

Minimalism

8 We noticed that you've tried different beard styles recently, which one is your favourite?

I really admire Logan’s beard from X-Men, I have also tried that very style recently. 

9. Can you talk about your grooming routine? 

My grooming routine includes a face wash, shampoo and I always have a beard trimmer stash with me that I carry along everywhere. 

10. Any fusion-wear trends that you love? 

I like dhoti with a coat and, in fact, I personally like the fusion wear of my friend Bharat Ahuja. He has a label called Desire Design Studio.

11. What's your go-to Diwali outfit each year?

I love pathani kurtas.
