Keanu Reeves Is A Key Character In 'Cyberpunk 2077' & His Role Is Bigger Than What We Expected

After years of hard work and multiple delays, CD Projekt Red is finally ready to give us Cyberpunk 2077. It's coming out on December 10 and we honestly can't wait to play it. The studio has been pumping out videos leading up to the release date and they wrapped up with their final video in the Night City Wire series last night.

The finale video is all about the in-game music, animation details, and most importantly, Keanu Reeves' role in the game. For those of you who don't know, Keanu Reeves is playing a role in Cyberpunk 2077 and his character is named Johnny Silverhand.

Johnny is both a rockstar and an ex-military and he seems to have his own agenda in the game. His role is bigger than what we had anticipated. In fact, CD Projekt Red considers him a 'co-protagonist' as a lot of quests will revolve around this character.

We highly suggest you watch the Night City Wire video to learn more about his role in the game. Long story short, it's going to be fun playing the game while having by the side for the fun ride. In addition to that, the video shows us how Cyberpunk 2077's soundtrack has numerous real bands on it.

The game has up to 150 custom tracks and the featured artists include Run The Jewels, Grimes, Nina Kraviz, Gazelle Twin, and Rat Boy. And if you are a streamer, then the game will also allow you to enable streamer mode so that all the copyrighted music will be disabled. The copyrighted tracks will be replaced with something suitable for streaming.

There's a lot in store for us and now we can't wait for December 10 to be here already. We hope you are ready with your hardware to run this beast. In the meantime, you can head over hereΒ to read our full coverage on all things Cyberpunk 2077.
