Public transport is surely one of the things that ever happened to those who weren’t born with a silver spoon in their mouth. For the poor and middle-class all over the world, public transport makes their world go round, literally.

Right from helping people take care of their everyday needs, getting an education, getting to work and what not, public transportation touches millions of lives everyday by simply providing a seamless service to those in need.
However, unfortunately public transportation isn’t much of a blessing for a lot of people out there. With issues ranging from dilapidated vehicles, high fare and unsatisfactory services, public transportation in a lot of countries sucks real bad.

Turns out our neighbouring country of Pakistan cannot boast of a smooth ride to its public transport users because recently, pictures and videos of passengers deboarding and pushing a Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit mid-journey surfaced online after the vehicle broke down on the main corridor near Adbara station.

What’s more, Times Now has also claimed that the high-quality transit system, reportedly costing Rs 69 billion,has often been making headlines for its accidents and corruption allegations. It is also said that as many as 5 buses have broken down and failed to restart since the project was flagged off.
