Chinese Cabin Crew To Wear Diapers For Covid Safety & It Seems They’ve Got The ‘Hole’ Thing Wrong

The world isn’t too happy with China right now. The 'anti-China' sentiment, that has found many takers across the world amid the coronavirus outbreak, seems to be gaining momentum with every passing day.

Now, people have found yet another reason to troll the nation after a set of guidelines released by the Chinese aviation authorities caught public attention.

As per reports, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) recently released fresh guidelines for best hygiene practices to be followed on the aircraft and at the airports.

While the guidelines call for a number of precautionary measures to be undertaken by the staff and passengers, one suggestion, in particular, is making people laugh out loud.

It’s the one that asks the flight attendants to wear disposable diapers so they don't have to use the common in-flight bathroom.

The advisory was particularly directed at cabin crew flying to and from high-risk countries who were asked to wear "medical masks, double-layer disposable medical gloves, goggles, disposable hats, disposable protective clothing, and disposable shoe covers."

In the document titled Technical Guidelines for Epidemic Prevention and Control for Airlines, Sixth Edition, it is stated, "It is recommended that cabin crew members wear disposable diapers and avoid using the lavatories barring special circumstances to avoid infection risks."

Although it seems absurd at first, there is no denying that public toilets continue to be high-risk zones for virus transmission and so we kind of understand where these guys are coming from.

But obviously, people haven’t been able to take the news with a straight face and it has given rise to some hilarious reactions on Twitter.

Because we all want our in-flight meals to be served by someone who smells vaguely of piss..... 🤣

The Chinese government is just trolling their people at this point.

And that’s enough Twitter for today.

We've been covering the wrong hole all this time.

Butt masks coming to a store near you soon

I follow some absolutely questionable content here but THIS takes the cake. I understand the intention behind it and all, but how odd is it to wake up, turn on the local news, and the nation's officials pull this one on you?

Sit back, relax and enjoy the scents of the flight attendants

For real? If your flight attendant is advised to wear a diaper, no one should be on that damn plane! #StayAtHome https://t.co/hmUlDK3DGB

Well, that’s something. Isn’t it?
