Sony Is Refunding Some Unhappy 'Cyberpunk 2077' Fans Because Of The Game's Performance On PS4

Cyberpunk 2077 is finally out now and it's incredible. While the game is getting a lot of love from the supporters, not everybody seems to be happy with the release. The old generation PS4 and Xbox One players, in particular, aren't exactly happy with the way the game turned out.

PS4 users seem to be most affected as they are experiencing performance issues and crashes. A lot of reports have claimed that the game exhibits exceptionally poor performance on the PS4 and the Xbox One.

Hot on the heels of this, Sony is reportedly handing out Cyberpunk 2077 refunds. Typically, Sony doesn't offer refunds for digital games, especially once they've been played. However, every once in a while it makes exceptions and this appears to be one of those rare occasions.

A lot of PS4 users have confirmed that they have received refunds. It doesn't appear to be a part of a blanket policy since a lot of users have reported that their request was even denied. So we'd say it depends on the customer rep dealing with the request too.

As of now, it's not entirely sure if all PS4 players will get a refund for the game. Both CD Projekt Red and Sony have decided to remain tight-lipped on this matter so we'll see how it goes. In the meantime, we'd love to know your thoughts on the game.
