Rohit Sharma’s current trip to Australia doesn’t seem to be getting any better with the change of the year.
First, he was made to stay in a 14-day quarantine, to adhere to the Covid-19 protocol put in place for the safety of the cricketer and that of his teammates in Australia.
Once the quarantine was finished, the cricketer, along with four more of his teammates, was caught on camera, apparently breaking the lockdown protocol and enjoying a luxurious meal out in the open.

And now, the Mumbai Indians skipper is being called out for his 'hypocrisy' as the online-world figured out that Sharma, an animal rights activist, was found eating beef during the breach of the bio-bubble protocols.
If you thought Virat Kohli is a fake environmentalist for targeting Diwali.
Let me remind you our Beef eater boy Rohit Sharma is an absolute animal lover who runs an NGO for dogs nd is the brand ambassador for Rhino conservation.

However, on the other hand, some of Sharma’s fans have come forward to the cricketer’s aide:
When unnecessary questions are raised on him. I'm there to support him forever and ever.

The cricketer has not made any statement on the incident yet, so far.
As far as the alleged breach of bio-bubble and its consequences are concerned, reports suggest that all five of the Indian players will be placed under isolation, and are likely to be available for selection for the third Test against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
BCCI and Cricket Australia (CA) are currently holding an investigation into the matter after a fan clicked the pictures of the players having a meal in a Melbourne restaurant and uploaded the details of the incident on Twitter.
