Owing to his skills, Pakistani actor and singer Ali Zafar is not only popular in his country but also has quite a fan-following in India as well. 

But there is more to Zafar than what meets the eye.

Apart from his acting and singing abilities, the 40-year-old recently turned a few heads on the back of his batting skills. 

The Pakistani star shared a video on Twitter where he was seen clubbing a poor bowler for a massive six. "Sorry @TahaSadaqat. I should not have posted this," Zafar tweeted.

While cricket fans were surely taken by surprise, Zafar also left Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez in awe of his batting skills.  

The Pakistani cricketer urged the actor to get his name included in the list of Emerging Players for the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).  

"Bhai get in Emerging players list for PSL season 6 @AliZafarsays," Hafeez tweeted.

This isn't the first time when Zafar's cricketing skills captured the imagination of fans.  

Last year, he found himself in an exciting contest with Pakistani bowling legend Shoaib Akhtar who had openly challenged the actor.  

The duo was seen going against each other in a one-on-one contest that included both batting and bowling.
