And, looks like that's exactly what Puducherry Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy did recently. During his visit, Rahul Gandhi seemed to have an interesting time

But, since she spoke in Tamil, Puducherry CM V. Narayanasamy acted as the translator for RaGa and instead told him that she's thanking him for visiting during the cyclone, that too in English.

So, assuming she doesn't understand what he said to Rahul Gandhi in English and Rahul, of course, not understanding Tamil, the mistranslation by the CM would've never been caught if it wasn't for Twitter.

Calling out V. Narayanasamy, C. T. Ravi shared the video on Twitter with the correct translations and people are disappointed at the state of the government and how people aren't even being heard even when they're actively airing their problems.
