Bollywood actors from the 1980s and the 1990s had a very quirky sense of style.
From hilariously colourful shirts, to bizarre-looking jackets, we have seen them wear all kinds of polarising things in real life. Sure, they may have been at the epitome of fashion back in the day, but when we look back at their photos, most of the outfits that we see are simply hilarious.

Chunky Pandey too, has had a coloured history when it comes to fashion. Now though, his choices in fashion in fashion seem to have sobered up a lot, which is actually a good thing.

Recently, our very own “Tony Stark” (don’t blame us, blame Ananya Pandey for this) was seen at the Mumbai Airport, in simple, but dope-looking outfit, and quite a zany pair of driving loafers.
Chunky Pandey was seen wearing a dope looking polo T-shirt. The pastel green shade of the T-shirt sat harmoniously with the relaxed-fitting, light washed blue denim that he was wearing.

We think that an accessory, such as a sunglass, or a watch would have uplifted the outfit even more, and tied it up neatly, giving it some character. Nonetheless, Chunky looked dapper in the outfit.

We seriously think that as far as Airport looks are concerned, this is the way to go - something simple, laidback, and still stylish.
The shoes that Chunky is wearing, though, are anything but simple.

Chunky is seen here wearing a dope looking driving moccasin. In particular, he’s wearing an older iteration of Gucci’s Driving Loafers in Green.

The loafers ar8e made using the highest grade of Italian suede leather and have a very simple, but a sophisticated silhouette. The driving moccasins were originally designed as special shoes that were supposed to be worn by people who would be on grand tours of Europe.

Basically, people who needed shoes that were comfortable to drive exhaustive distances across countries and continents were the target customers for these kinds of shoes.
This pair from Gucci has a few quirky looking elements that make it stand out. Firstly, there is Gucci’s signature three-coloured strip in different shades of green on the side. Then, there are also the studs on the rear of the loafer.

Given this is a piece from Gucci, it is expensive. When it was new, the loafers used to retail for about $850, or Rs 64,000, plus all the requisite taxes and customs.

It seems that Chunky has a taste for the finer things in life. But then, is it any surprise, given what we saw in The Fabulous Wives Of Bollywood? We guess not.
