‘British Kangana Ranaut’ Michael Vaughan Gets Trolled After ‘Nervous In India’ Tweet Backfires

The exciting T20I series between India and England came to a nail-biting end when in the fifth and final match, the top-order partnership of Dawid Malan and Jos Buttler was proving to be a little too good for Virat Kohli’s comfort.

Having established a massive 224-run total in the first half of the match, the Men in Blue would not have realised that they would have to put so much extra effort into ending the match as the duo of Malan and Buttler looked absolutely invincible at a certain point of time.

Sharing just 75 deliveries between them, the two Englishmen scored a total of 130 runs together and gave their side the promising start they needed in such a high-scoring game. With 17 boundaries coming off just these two superstars’ bats, the fans of the Indian cricket team were at the edge of their seats, hoping to see one of them give up their wicket.

Former England captain, Michael Vaughan knew what to tweet at this point in order to derive maximum engagement via his Twitter account and he hit the bullseye with this one… even though it backfired later in the night.

Are you getting nervous in India !!!! #INDvENG

“Are you getting nervous in India !!!!” wrote an extremely excited Vaughan in the tweet.

Unfortunately for Vaughan, within minutes of his tweet, Buttler ended up losing his wicket to Bhuvneshwar Kumar following a Hardik Pandya catch and had to return to the pavilion, albeit with a fiery 52 off 34 to brag about.

Soon after, Malan found himself standing on the other side of the pitch as Jonny Bairstow came and went for cheap. Malan would soon get bowled out by Shardul Thakur in the 15th over with a huge 82-run lead to catch up to for the rest of the team.

At this point, the number of deliveries left was simply not enough for the English lower-middle order to go for a successful chase and that match was pretty much over.

Unable to contain their excitement, the fans of the Indian cricket team burst out on Vaughan’s Twitter, letting him hear a word or two:
