Kartik Aaryan knows how to carry off any outfit, just like he knows how to perfectly execute iconic rants. The man has been knocking it out of the park in the fashion department since a long time now, and naturally he is one of the top choices when it comes to being the showstopper for iconic designers. We just saw him walk the ramp for Manish Malhotra along with Kiara Advani, as the showstopper at Lakme Fashion Week.

Kartik looked straight out of a fashion magazine, courtesy his charm on the ramp, as well the amazing asymmetrical outfit from MM's collection for LFW. The man does know how to carry off an all black outfit with all its regality, no doubt about that.

However, as cool as he looked on the ramp, a simultaneous conversation started when savage, meme-loving netizens spotted the design on Kartik's outfit. It was a design composed of some beautifully embroidered deer on Kartik's jacket. Next thing you know, some 'Bhai-anak' commentary followed. With the internet being the outlet for people to let out their opinions, often mired in rage and disappointment but wrapped in humour, let's just say it's better to get used to controversial topics being unearthed every once in a while. Legalities have their own space, but public sentiment trumps that any day, and even something as niche as fashion as a subject can't be excluded from that. Also, Indian netizens are selectively ruthless, perhaps not necessarily in a vile or cruel manner as it always depends on the topic at hand.

Moving past that, all we can say is that we absolutely love the all-black, super classy outfit Mr Malhotra has designed, and Kartik has done full justice to it. Bravo!
