When you’re making the most basic kind of move like putting one foot in front of the other repeatedly—not running but simply walking—are you losing fat?
From my experience, I would have to say yes.
It’s not that I don’t like a daily dose of high-intensity workout, the adrenaline rush or the gym’s aura of motivation, but I needed a more relaxed form of exercise.
Walking, for men, is highly underrated. And I decided to give it a go when I couldn’t motivate myself to hit the gym.
Every time I became regular with workouts, I experienced more pain than gain and this continued for months.
My body simply didn’t agree with trainers. So, I planned to go easy on myself.
I started 30 minutes of walking and in a day or two, I was able to walk for an hour. It was as good as jogging.
Target: 8,000-10,000 steps a day.
Intentions & Expectations: Weight loss, improved body shape, toning and tightening, muscle building and releasing toxins.

The BottomlineSo, does walking reduce weight? Yes, it takes its own sweet time but it does.
Will it give you abs like Hrithik Roshan? Probably not.
Different body types react differently to workouts but walking might be the safest and the easiest way to stay in good health for a long period of time.
