With rising cases of COVID in India, Bollywood celebs have also upped their protective gear game. Just yesterday, Shahid Kapoor was clicked at the airport sporting a casual look but it was his face gear that caught everyone's attention. Shahid was seen wearing a face mask, a pair of sunglasses, and a thick face shield that covered his entire face.
View this post on InstagramPeople had varied reactions to his protective gear. Some felt that he went overboard with it while others felt that he is being a responsible citizen as he has to go back to his children back at home.

It was photographer Viral Bhayani who posted his picture and captioned it, βIf he is able to breathe well then 5 stars.β Shahid responded to it in a witty manner and his savage response shows his sense of humour. He responded, βNo actually have been holding my breath for over a year now."

What Shahid was actually referring to is anyone's guess, but he can surely handle light-hearted banter online.Β Β
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid will next be seen in Jersey in which he will be seen as a cricketer. The movie is the Hindi remake of the National Award-winning Telugu film of the same name. While congratulating the team behind Jersey on their recent win, Kapoor wrote on his Instagram page, "Huge congratulations to the entire team. Thanks for the extra pressure. @gowtamnaidu @nameisnani @shraddhasrinath @sitharaentertsinments."
View this post on InstagramThe movie chronicles the story of a talented but failed cricketer, who decides to return to the field in his late 30s driven by the desire to represent the Indian cricket team and fulfill his son's wish for a jersey as a gift.
Talking about the film, Shahid had earlier told IANS, βIt took me some time to decide what to do next after Kabir Singh. But the minute I saw Jersey, I knew I wanted it to be my next. It is a wonderful, inspiring, and personal human journey that I connected with deeply.β
The film would be the big Diwali release this year as it is set to hit theatres on November 5. It also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankanj Kapur. It is directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri and has music by Sachet and Parmpara.
