Many of us as kids wanted to become one thing or the other and very few of us could fulfill our dreams. A 9-year-old kid, Advait Sumesh wants to become a pilot and wanted to visit the flight cockpit for a long time.

Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi was seen taking the young boy to the cockpit area to help him revisit his dream. The video of Rahul Gandhi with the kid has been going viral on the internet since then.

Rahul Gandhi took the little boy to the cockpit of his chartered flight where he along with the pilot of the plane is explaining to him the mechanism of the flight.

Rahul Gandhi, met the boy at a tea stall in Keezhurkunnu, in Kannur district where he is campaigning for the United Democratic Front led by Congress in poll-bound Kerala. He struck up a conversation with the little boy and later interaction of the same was posted on his Instagram handle.

According to reports, Gandhi was impressed by the little boy’s English and Hindi speaking skills and then he asked him about what he wants to become when he grows up. The boy reportedly told him, “I want to fly, I dream to become a pilot.”

So the next day, Rahul Gandhi took him along with his father to the Calicut International airport where his chartered flight was parked and brought the kid to the cockpit. In the video, you can see a female pilot sitting inside the cockpit and Gandhi welcomes the kid on board and starts to explain the mechanisms involved in flying a plane.
