'The Conjuring 3' Trailer Sees The Warrens Return To Investigate New Terrifying Case

Fans of the horror genre can finally rejoice as the trailer of the much-awaited third installment of the Conjuring franchise dropped its trailer on Thursday (April 22).

As per what we've seen in the trailer for The Conjuring 3, also known as "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It", fans of the supernatural genre are destined to be spooked by what is to come in the film.

The scary trailer sees the return of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren investigating a criminal case of a suspect who claims to have committed murders while being possessed by the devil.

However, the film will focus on how the Warrens will have to battle the demons on their own in order to prove the existence of the devil to the courthouse who do not believe in the supernatural.

What makes things eerier for fans is that the film is inspired by a real-life case from 1981.

If horror films weren't scary already, when one reads the "Based on true events", you know that most of us are not turning off the lights at night.

Unlike the first two installments which were directed by James Wan, The Conjuring 3 will be directed by Michael Chaves. That does not mean that Wan has no involvement in the film as the 44-year-old Malaysian-Australian film director has co-written the latest film.

The Warrens are BACK. Not demons, the Devil, or even a worldwide pandemic can stop them (even though they all took a shot.) It's been a long time coming. So excited to share this. So excited for everyone to see the movie. https://t.co/STltduIrrB

The horror film will see actors Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson reprise their roles as Lorraine and Ed Warren from the previous film, with John Noble and Ruairi O’Connor also joining the cast.
