A controversy sparked off after Baba Ramdev claimed that medicines such as remdesivir approved by the Drugs Controller General of India for coronavirus treatment had failed. “Lakhs of patients have died because of allopathic medicines rather than a shortage of oxygen,” he claimed.

On Saturday, in a session, he called Allopathy a ‘stupid science’ and attacked all the methods that allopathy uses to treat the deadly virus.

After his statements were heavily criticized, he had to take down this video from his account.

He, then, posed 25 questions related to some of the most common diseases and asked for their solution and treatment in the allopathy and pharma industry. He said that there’s no permanent a solution that allopathy can provide.

Just yesterday, he was asked to come on board for a live session on AajTak with IMA’s Dr. Jayesh Lele and things took a dramatic turn after Baba Ramdev and Dr. Lele got into a verbal war.

Dr. Lele slammed him for his statements and told him not to use the news platform to advertise his medicine Coronil.

After the video went viral, people on social media started to hail Dr. Lele for his befitting reply to Ramdev Baba and flooded Twitter with memes.
