Vir Das’ Tweet On Delhi Belly's 10th Anniversary Has Some Pretty Hilarious Replies

There has to be something seriously wrong with you if you found Delhi Belly boring. Saying that it was a laughter riot, would be grossly underselling the film. Back then, in 2011, the film won some awards, but largely won a lot of hearts. It was a proper box office blockbuster.

It did not matter, whether you watched the film in Hindi or English, there were some pretty comically charged sequences that didn’t even need any dialogues.

And let’s not even get started on some of the iconic songs that the movie gave us.

Well, people on twitter, had some pretty anecdotes about the film and what they liked about it, and trust us, they were just as funny as the film itself.

Go Goa Gone & Delhi Belly - you've your name in two cult comedies. Great!

As disgusting as it was, this was an epic scene...

It's one of my go-to films, along with A Fish Called Wanda. The only problem is that some of the bathroom scenes have put me off orange juice for the rest of my life!

Someone tried trolling him, and got smacked down, pretty hard.

Maybe sas bahu shows are more your speed.

We couldn’t agree more...

All-time favorite.
You guys were all superb, but the biggest stars were the script and screenplay.

This, hands down, was one of the funniest exchanges of the film.

Aare tu takla kyu hogaya hai?
Woh ladki chor gayi mujhe
Aur usne tere baal bhi leliye?

I remember watching this movie in a theatre in Delhi with couple of frnds. Next to me there was a very elderly couple laughing their heart out. This movie was indeed a masterpiece.

It is actually a sad affair, that movies that were as outrageous as this one, aren’t made anymore. Bollywood, if you’re reading this, can we please have more films like these, instead of stuff like Radhe?
