Speculations have been made for quite a long time about the debut of star kids Sara Ali Khan and Jhanvi Kapoor who are all set to be launched in Bollywood this year.

It was rumoured that both Sara and Jhanvi will be launched by Karan Johar but now only Jhanvi will be debuting under Karan's home banner.

According to a leading Indian daily, Kareena Kapoor Khan wanted to see Sara work with Karan first, but Sara Ali Khan's mother Amrita Singh insisted that her daughter will be debuting under Ekta's home banner because they both are close friends.

Amrita after her divorce with Saif Ali Khan went on to work in Ekta's show Kkavyanjali and also starred in her home production.

Sara who almost signed KJo's film will now be debuting in Kedarnath directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ekta Kapoor because Amrita pulled out of the deal and gave her dates to Ekta.

It is also being speculated that Sara might have lost a big chance of her big debut by working with Ekta first and skipping KJo.

Meanwhile, Jhanvi is all set to make her debut in Student of the Year 2 and will also sign a three-film deal with Karan.

Sara Ali Khan's loss is Jhanvi Kapoor's gain as Jhanvi will make her debut in Karan Johar's film.
