Delhi experienced something magical on Tuesday morning and it was the heavy rainfall in the city. Several parts of the capital witnessed a heavy spell of rain, which came as a blessing amid the intense heatwave. 

The IMD had predicted moderate rainfall of two hours. Not just the capital, even adjoining areas like Gurgaon and Faridabad also witnessed heavy rainfall.

The Tweet read, "Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain and winds with speed of 20-40 km/h would occur over and adjoining areas of most places of Delhi, NCR (Bahadurgarh, Gurugram, Faridabad, Loni Dehat, Noida) Gohana, Sonipat, Rohtak (Haryana) Khekra (UP) during next 2 hours."
