Raj Kundra's Porn App Was Projected To Make Rs 146 Cr By The Year 2023-24

The alleged pornographic racket of businessman Raj Kundra is becoming complicated with each passing day. Every day new details from the investigation of the case are coming to the fore.

Now, the first charge sheet of the case has been filed and the Mumbai police have attached a PPT presentation that reveals the revenue and profit targets set by Kundra for his ‘back-up’ pornography venture, Bollyfame Media Limited.

This app was launched after their app HotShots was banned from Google Playstore and Apple last year.

According to a report by Mid-Day, Raj Kundra had projected a gross revenue of Rs 146 crore and a net Rs 34 crore for 2023-24 for his backup venture. Also, the year on year profits was mentioned to get doubled every year.

The presentation also included the revenue and net profit for the years 2021-22 and 2022-23. For 2021-22, Kundra and his associates were expecting the company to make a gross revenue of Rs 36.50 crore and a net profit of about Rs 4.77 crore. For 2022-23, they were expecting a gross revenue and net profit of around Rs 73 crore each.

Also, the charge sheet did not mention if this estimate was for Bollyfame or some other company.

The Mumbai Crime Branch officials have also recorded the statement of actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra. A police official told ANI,  “Shilpa Shetty hasn’t been given clean chit yet. All possibilities/angles are being probed. Forensic auditors are appointed and they are looking into the transactions of all accounts in this case. Other directors of Viaan Industries (Raj Kundra’s company) will also be called for statements as of and when needed. Actor Sherlyn Chopra has been called for a statement as a witness in this case.”
