Deepika Is Out Of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's New Project & The Reason Has Left People Stunned


Deepika Padukone ignited a frenzy when she did her debut movie in Bollywood with Om Shanti Om. And, from there, she didn't stop and went onto becoming India's national crush. Be it her acting chops or style sensibilities; the numero uno actress has made her mark in the industry. Apart from that, Deepika has been vocal about other matters, including mental health and pay disparity in the Bollywood industry. She is in such a position today that she can dominate the room and demand equal pay, rightfully so.

Very recently, her husband Ranveer Singh signed an upcoming project with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. A source reportedly said, "It is Ranveer Singh who has been finalised. An official announcement is in the offing, but yes, a few modalities yet remain to be worked out. Probably post all that, Bhansali will declare. But as things stand today, it is Ranveer."

He would be a part of Bhansali's next Baiju Bawra. In fact, Ranbir and Kartik were also considered for the same but the final name as of now is Ranveer's. However, as per new reports, Deepika was approached for the same movie but is now out of the project. As quoted by Bollywood Hungama, "Apparently, Deepika wants the same remuneration as her husband. Not a penny more, not a penny less." To add more to this, they said, "In a way, it works out for the better. Four Ranveer – Deepika films in a row from Sanjay Leela Bhansali would have been excessive, don't you think?"
