You Can Turn Your iPhone 6 Into An iPhone 7 In China And Heres How It Can Be Done

You may have remembered a few months ago, a dude made his own iPhone 6s by using spare parts from China. The iPhone was in perfect working condition and the guy purchased all his parts from Shenzhen where all smartphones originate from. It was called the “global gadget capital” of the world by TechRadar and we can see why.

The people who work there can fix/repair or build pretty much anything and the reporter from Forbes went to the gadget market where he managed to change his iPhone 6 into an iPhone 7. The reporter manages to get the conversion done in under 30 minutes and cost only US $44.

He adds that the change was only cosmetic and he basically had the innards of the iPhone 6 installed in the case of an iPhone 7. He detailed that the process was much more complicated and easier said than done, but in the end, the phones looked identical. He showcases the camera bump as well which is very distinct from the iPhone 6.

There are numerous other videos on the internet where people have done the same exact thing to their iPhone 6's and it seems like China is the place to be in for some real “juggad”. The only noticeable difference is the home button, as it is clickable when compared to the iPhone 7. He even explained that the TouchID worked perfectly.

You can find the store for yourself if you are ever in China. It is called Bafo Technology and specialises in modding iPhones. You can even have the storage of you iPhone increased for just INR 3000. You can increase a 16GB iPhone to a 128GB iPhone with no stress and it barely costs anything when compared to the retail price of the higher-storage variant.
