Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is currently in jail due to his connection in an ongoing drugs case and is waiting for his bail plea to be heard.

SRK had once revealed why he named his eldest son ‘Aryan’ and he talked about the same in an interview.

SRK and Gauri Khan married in 1991 and in November 1997, their first child was born whom they named Aryan. 

Later, when SRK was asked why he named his eldest son Aryan, he said, “We just named him Aryan. I don’t know. I just liked the sound of the name. I thought when he tells a girl ki my name is Aryan. Aryan Khan, she’ll be really impressed.”

Shah Rukh Khan also talked about Aryan Khan’s features when he was born and how he looked like a mixture of him and Gauri. 

He said, “His looks have come from both of us. Actually, Gauri and I have similar features — both of us have big eyes and thick lips. I don’t know… He’s got expressions like mine, I think… But he’s a mixture. And no, I haven’t changed any diapers!”

Well, talk about a refreshingly honest reason behind a name! One thing is for sure, Aryan Khan is pretty popular among the opposite *** for his looks which he has inherited from his father. 

Meanwhile, Aryan Khan's bail plea hearing is set for today, however, the NCB is likely to oppose the application over claims of 'new proof'.
