    Nothing officially unveiled the ear (1) at its launch event today and showed off the design of the TWS earbuds. The wireLESS earbuds have a transparent design on the charging case and part of the earbuds. The truly wireless earbuds are said to last up to 34 hours with the charging case and also has Active Noise Cancellation. Nothing ear (1) will be available in India for Rs 5,999 from 17th August 2021.

    “Nothing ear (1) is a breath of fresh air in a cluttered and indifferent market, setting the tone for our connected digital world to come,” said Carl Pei, CEO and Co-founder of Nothing. “It marries advanced technology, precise engineering, and groundbreaking design at an unbelievable price.”

    The earbuds also use some unconventional design cues where each earbud has been marked with a colour instead of the traditional ‘Left’ and ‘Right’ symbols. The red dot stands for the ‘Right’ earbuds while the white dot denotes the ‘Left’ earbuds. Each earbud also weighs about 4.7gm and has replacement silicon tips. The earbuds come with three silicone tips of different sizes however it's unclear whether the company will be selling additional replacements in the near future.

    In terms of the audio hardware, each earbud has an 11.6mm driver that has been designed by the folks at Teenage Engineering. The earbuds also work with a companion that is available for both Android and iOS devices. The earbuds also have a flat stem which can be used for gesture controls. Finally, each earbud come with three high definition microphones that aid in better noise cancellation and clearer voice calls. 

    The active noise cancellation feature on the Nothing ear (1) has three modes where i.e. Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode and ANC off. The company also said that it has developed some form of Clear Voice Technology to reduce background noise for voice calls.

    Finally, the charging case also uses a transparent design where you can clearly see the earbuds tucked inside while charging. The charging case also supports fast charging where 10 minutes of charging can yield 8 hours of battery. Finally, the Nothing ear (1)’s charging case also supports Qi wireless charging and is compatible with all Qi wireless chargers. 

    Other nifty features include a ‘Find My Earbud’ feature where users will be able to detect their earbuds by playing a sound from the companion app. The earbuds also support Fast Pairing, In-ear detection and are also sweat and water splash resistant. 
    Nothing ear (1) will be available in India from 17th August 2021 at 12:00 IST on Flipkart. Stay tuned for more information and our official review soon.

    A word of advice- always be extra careful during your bathroom trips, especially after drinking at parties.

    Now, if that is not worse, the fact that other people might end up watching the whole ordeal really makes you wish you had enough money in the bank to move to a new country.

    Anyway, there is no coming back from this. Once it's heard, you become the newest celebrity on the block with the fame sure coming at a huge cost. However, the good thing is, that it happens to the best of us and it'll be long forgotten once there is a new candidate in town. And trust me, there will be.

    Raj Kundra was arrested last week in connection to a porn racket and is still in police custody. He is allegedly involved in the production of porn films.

    According to ANI, Shilpa Shetty fought with her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, during a raid at their home by the crime branch on Monday.  She burst into tears during the argument and the team had to step in to calm her down. She also told the cops that she didn’t know about his actions.
    The source said, “Shilpa was very upset after the interrogation. She and Kundra had a huge argument where she shouted and asked him what was the need of doing such a thing and why he did everything. The crime branch team had to intervene between the couple to pacify the actress.”

    Source also added, “Kundra had changed his phone in March so that no data can be recovered. When Crime Branch officials asked him about his old phone, he told them he threw it away. Police believe that the old phone contains many important pieces of evidence and is looking for it.”

    The source also said, “In the investigation, the Crime Branch has found transactions worth crores were done from the joint account of Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra. The Crime Branch suspects that the earnings from ‘Hotshots’ and ‘Bolly Fame’ app used to come into this account.”

    The sources also said that it is now being investigated whether or not the money earned for pornographic sites was invested in buying bitcoins.

    Raj was arrested on 19 July in connection with a porn case. He has been booked under Sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292, and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) along with relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. He has been remanded in police custody for the next 14 days.

    In other news, Pratik Gandhi and Richa Chadha have recently signed up for a web series Six Suspects. The series is an official adaptation of Vikas Swarup’s 2016 book by the same name.

    According to a report by TOI, the series is being directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and went on floors in February end. Ajay Devgn and Priti Sinha are said to be producing the show together.

    Samsung was rumoured to launch two new foldable smartphones on August 11th and now the company has officially confirmed that the two smartphones will be launching next month. The company will also be skipping the Galaxy Note series as there was no mention of the phone in the official press release.

    Samsung’s official mobile chief Dr TM Roh revealed that the company is indeed launching two foldable smartphones at the event and in the Z series. "We will unleash our latest and greatest Galaxy Z series to reshape the smartphone category and completely reimagine your experiences," said Dr. TM Roh, President & Head of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics.

    Dr Roh also hinted that the two devices will “combine the very best that smartphones and tablets offer, while the Z Flip will exhibit an even more refined style, armed with more durable, stronger materials.”
    "We are out to set new heights and open up a whole new world of exciting experiences for even more people. I hope you’ll join us as we debut our next Galaxy Z family and share some foldable surprises — including the first-ever S Pen designed specifically for foldable phones," he added.

    Dr Roh has also all but confirmed a dedicated S Pen for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 which was also rumoured earlier to be included with the smartphone. We aren’t entirely sure what S Pen support for foldable means at the moment, however Samsung will eventually clear every doubt at the launch event. 

    However, one thing is for sure, Samsung will not be launching a new Galaxy Note device and instead focus on its foldable smartphone lineup. “Instead of unveiling a new Galaxy Note this time around, we will further broaden beloved Note features to more Samsung Galaxy devices.”

    Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 on August 11th. The two smartphones are expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset and have IP68 water/dust resistance. 

    It has been rumoured that Samsung will focus more on the durability of its two smartphones apart from offering water and dust resistance. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is also expected to be relatively cheaper than its predecessors, which may enable Samsung to put foldable smartphones in more hands than ever before.

    Former Indian batsman and all-time legend Sunil Gavaskar is known for talking about the game of cricket without many filters and upon watching a few matches of England’s The Hundred tournament, he decided to bring forward his opinion on the matter in the usual ‘Sunny G’ way.

    The Hundred Vs Indian Premier LeagueWith leagues like the Indian Premier League in India and the Australian Big Bash League taking away the limelight from ECB’s T20 Blast, which was the very first tournament to follow the 20-over format ever, it was evident that England needed something new and different to regain the lost popularity in the field of cricket.

    However, Gavaskar feels that one of the crucial reasons behind the success of the IPL was the incredible start it got off the back of Brendon McCullum’s performance in the tournament-opening match back in 2008. On the contrary, The Hundred’s opening, albeit close and exciting, was nowhere close to the level of cricket that was played in India.
    "Unlike the IPL, which was given a vertical take-off by Brendon McCullum’s incredible innings in the very first match, The Hundred hadn't quite got that and so may take a little more time to get the hearts of the spectators,” he wrote.

    India’s first-ever fencing athlete at the Olympics, Bhavani Devi’s journey in Tokyo 2020 began with a flourishing start, especially after she won her first match with a dominating score of 15/3 against Tunisia's Nadia Ben Aziz. However, her chase for a medal came to a halt suddenly, when she was faced off against the world’s top-three player Manon Brunet.
    Disappointed and heartbroken, Devi shared the message, apologising to the whole nation about not being able to get a victory, despite giving the contest everything that she’d got.

    Indian comedian Sunil Pal went on a full rant recently that made us really question whether he actually does any comedy anymore.

    The 45-year-old, who is also an actor and voice-actor, launched a scathing attack on fan-favourite Manoj Bajpayee by calling him ‘badtameez (ill-mannered)’ and a ‘gira hua aadmi (fallen man)’.

    Bajpayee, who has been a part of the industry, has recently been shown a lot of love by fans all over the country due to the massive success of his Amazon Prime original TV Show, Family Man.

    However, Sunil Pal clearly is not a fan.
    The comedian was actually speaking about the ongoing investigation into disgraced businessman Raj Kundra’s alleged links to a porn racket, when he actually started speaking about Bajpayee out of nowhere.
    Pal said that a clampdown was necessary on the people who are taking advantage of there being no censorship on digital platforms and produced web series content that should not be watched back at home.
    “Main khaas kar naam lena chahunga, main bohot nafrat karta hoon inn 3-4 logon se, like Manoj Bajpayee. Manoj Bajpayee kitna hi bada actor hoga, kitne hi bade awards mile, par usse zyada badtameez aur gira hua aadmi maine nahi dekha (I would like to specifically point out that I really hate 3-4 people like Manoj Bajpayee. However big an actor Manoj Bajpayee is and how many ever prestigious awards he has won, I have never seen a more ill-mannered and immoral man),” said Pal.
    The comedian then went to a whole new level by criticizing Family Man for showing elements that in his opinion were 'immoral', for which he laid a lot of blame on Bajpayee.
