In other news, Pratik Gandhi and Richa Chadha have recently signed up for a web series Six Suspects. The series is an official adaptation of Vikas Swarup’s 2016 book by the same name.

According to a report by TOI, the series is being directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and went on floors in February end. Ajay Devgn and Priti Sinha are said to be producing the show together.

The series will also star Ashutosh Rana, Raghubir Yadav, and Sharib Hashmi in the series Six Suspects.

According to the report, Ajay and Priti felt that it’s best to enter into the OTT space as more and more people are inclining towards it. Also, Ajay and Priti have acquired the rights to two books by Swaroop- Six Suspects and The Accidental Apprentice. 

It is also said that almost 50 percent of the show is in places like Delhi, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Allahabad, and is currently shooting in Mumbai. The leftover part of the series will be shot in a few other cities in the coming months of 2021.

Vikas Swarup's book Q & A was adapted into the academy-award-winning film Slumdog Millionaire directed by Danny Boyle.
