Thank you for downloading this little hook, I hope that you and your community find it useful.
I was looking for a block that would fit my needs regarding displaying new posts and I found the default Topics and Posts block lacking.
This hook is based around (but not exactly like) Headstands ‘Recent Posts’ Sidebar block for v3.14.
I developed this for my own community. So, in the spirit of open source, I decided to release this hook/widget to spare other's looking for something similar and be charged a small fortune at the same time.
Description
This hook is for displaying a block of the latest (last) posts posted on your forum. Very much like the IPB community Topic block, but instead of showing the topic originator, the last poster information is shown instead.
This block comes with the following abilities:
Custom block Title: I hate having to go into the language files just to edit a title. Probably won’t help with translations, but that could be changed later. Selectable forums: Select which forum’s you wish to display posts from. Your members will only see the posts that they have permission to view. Number of Posts: Select how many posts you wish to display to your members. Member Avatar: Select whether to display member avatar or not. Topic Post Count: Select whether to display a post topic count next to the title. Post Comment: You can display a post teaser in the same way as the IPB Post widget and control how many lines of the post comment you wish to display. This is the first version and no doubt could contain some bugs or as I like to call them, misplaced code and coffee driven lapses.

Several changes to the Categories sidebar in the Downloads area, when and how sub-categories are displayed, and when the full navigation Categories sidebar displays. And changes to how categories/subcategories are shown when a category has sub-categories but the parent category is empty.
 
 

Based on a previous version by Adriano this plugin prevents users from uploading attachments to the Album and Image description fields.
NOTE: If you currently use version 1.0.0 it is recommended that you uninstall this before installing 1.0.1

Kaf-e-Aaina" is a verse book of Parveen Shakir,A splendid Urdu verse gathering by Parveen Shakir, a famous poetess of Urdu from Pakistan. Her first book of verse accumulation is "Khushboo". She was likewise an educator and a common servant. She was , actually, an exceedingly taught personality. Parveen Shakir (November 24, 1952 – December 26, 1994) was a Urdu artist, educator and a common servant of the Government of Pakistan. Parveen began composing at an early age and distributed her first volume of verse, Khushbu [fragrance], to incredible recognition, in 1976. She therefore distributed different volumes of verse - all generally welcomed - Sad-barg [marsh Marigold] in 1980, Khud Kalami [soliloquy] and Inkar [denial] in 1990, Kaf e Aina [the Mirror's Edge] other than a gathering of her daily paper segments, titled Gosha-e-Chashm [the Sight Corner], and was recompensed one of Pakistan's most elevated respects, the Pride of Performance for her exceptional commitment to writing. The verse books are gathered in the volume Mah e Tamam [full Moon] except for Kaf e Aina. This plugin will record each visit made by users from selected groups to topics of specific forums.
Settings:
Record single visit: if disabled, a flood control setting will appear to set a number of minutes to avoid recording consecutive visits to the same topic Groups that WILL NOT have their visits to the topic logged Forums Groups allowed to view the visitors list List sort by and list direction Guests are not logged Important: 
When I inherited this file there was a bug in the uninstall routine. A tiny syntax error. If you've never attempted to uninstall this file before just upgrade to the latest version and you should be fine. If you have attempted to uninstall before you may end up with problems trying to reinstall this ever again. You can try to clear out database elements (many places) and clear your IPS server directory of the plugin files and that may help or maybe it won't. All I have to go on is someone's very broken IPS installation and honestly I don't even think this plugin was ever the problem but it did get caught up in the mess.
This file is unsupported!
I'm releasing what is effectively a duplicate of this plugin with minimal support soon, and a paid (cheap) version with more template options that will have support. This file will remain as-is from this point forward.

It allows you add a copy to disable the right mouse button or by using the CTRL + C for the user groups that you want.

This plugin places a "Go To Top" button in the posts controls both for forum posts and private messages.
Translate the language string "goToTop" if you want to modify the Font Awesome icon.

In a recent change to their API, Google now requires an API Key to access their Maps API. After upgrading to 4.1.13, follow our Google Maps guide to restore this integration. This is especially recommended if you are using Commerce which uses the API for address input auto completion.

New per-group setting to highlight posts made by certain groups. 2 theme settings control the color and border, which are editable in the easy theme editor. Better handling of upgrades if files have been modified. The sidebar widget for showing Downloads files can now show just free or paid files. When searching templates or CSS files in the AdminCP template editor, it will search for templates or CSS files with a name matching the term provided, in addition to searching the content of them. When viewing a log in the AdminCP, it will now show you on which page the log occurred and by which member. When the search index is being rebuilt, a message is now shown on the search results page to indicate why results may not be complete. The "details" modal for applications and plugins now has a tab which shows the hooks associated with that application or plugin. The placeholders that display on date/time inputs (e.g. "HH:MM") can now be translated. Rebuilding the search index, and rebuilding posts after a 3.x upgrade now processes newest posts first for a more user-friendly experience after upgrading. When a file is deleted, a log is created and a new setting controls how to keep these logs for.

The new feature to highlight posts made by members in a particular post adds to the article.ipsComment element a.ipsComment_highlighted class and a data-memberGroup attribute with the group ID (so a site could do different colors for different groups, though the default implementation does not do this). Mail Bouncer is a fully automated app to handle email bounces and spam complaints via 3rd Party Email services SparkPost & Mandrill
Hard Bounce If a hard bounce is detected, all email to that user will be instantly disabled, they will be placed into 'validating' status which means that IPS4 will prevent them accessing the community until they have updated their email address. Soft Bounce Soft bounces are counted over a number of days, if they exceed 1 bounce a warning message will be shown, if they exceed 4 bounces it will be converted to a 'hard bounce' Spam reports via Mandrill/SparkPost are when a user clicks on 'Spam' in AOL/Gmail/YahooMail etc, this user is blocked from having emails sent to them. The user is presented with a message on every page that tells them that they should update their email preferences instead of marking an email as spam. They are offered a chance to opt-in to emails again, once they opt-in the Mandrill side block is also removed. Removing 'Spam' users from the services reject list may cost a small amount of reputation. To prevent a user exploiting this they are only allowed to opt-in once. Reject Mail Bouncer app will learn your existing reject list as emails are sent to them (this won't hurt your reputation), This allows the app to start telling users to update their email address right away. This app is a zero-configuration app providing your Mandrill/SparkPost API Key setting is present. - See included PDF.

When you mouseover the badge showing who liked a post, you will now see a larger list of who liked that post. You can still click to get the full list. Ratings now show half-stars for the average (for example, if one user votes 3 stars and another 4, it will show 3 and a half stars) and there is now an indication if you have rated something. A "Preview" button has been added to the post editor which shows how the post will appear after BBCode processing. Tabs show how the post will appear on desktop, tablet and mobile. Users can now choose to ignore notifications for being mentioned in posts by particular users. You can now filter searches by specific forums/categories. Downloading files from Amazon S3 has been changed to redirect the user to a temporary download URL rather than serve the file through your server for significantly improved performance and reliability, especially with large files. If it is available on the server, ImageMagick will now be used rather than GD by default. ImageMagick also has a new setting to control JPG quality. APC User Cache is now supported in addition to APC. Warning This release does not support PHP 5.4 as it is end of life and no longer supported by PHP. This is a small maintenance release to fix a few issues reported in 4.1.10. In addition to bug fixes and performance improvements, it includes following new/changed features:
Integration with SparkPost replaces Mandrill for optional email service as Mandrill is stopping their current service toward the end of April. Questions in Question and Answer forums can now be sorted by most votes. The "All Activity" activity stream now has an RSS feed. The filter bar at the top of the activity stream no longer sticks to the stop of the screen when scrolling. If you receive a browser notification your notification menu will now reload to get the latest notification. More consistent visual feedback when a post submit or edit is processing to reduce duplicates. Sidebar widgets now how rounded corners to match rest of Suite. Recaptcha style is now a per-theme setting. You can now set which theme should be the default for the AdminCP separate to which should be the default for the front-end.  
Important Note
This is the last release that will support PHP 5.4 as it is end of life and no longer supported by PHP.
Please also note that PHP 5.5 goes full end of life in July 2016 so you should look into upgrading if your web host is using outdated versions. We will not immediately stop supporting PHP 5.5 in July but it may follow soon after.

Important Fixes
In addition to many smaller bug fixes and performance improvements, the following important fixes are included:
Guests were able to create streams. Logging into the AdminCP using Microsoft Sign In wasn't working. Pas were missing from the report center. In some circumstances, "0" would be removed from post content. MySQL 5.7 could throw an error when trying to clear out sessions. A recent Chrome update caused ACP search results to not display. Replying to support requests on an iPad wasn't working in some circumstances.  
Security Fixes
We are engaging in a third-party security audit of IPS Community Suite so you can expect the next few releases to contain a lot of security hardening. Many of these issues are not critical but we do still want to get the updates to you. This release includes fixes for several security issues:
Several CSRF vulnerabilities - most importantly on the process for associating OAuth sign-ins (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) with an account, meaning a malicious user could associate their own OAuth sign-in with another user's account. A session-hijacking vulnerability where after a login key is reset (such as after a password) since a new key is not immediately generated, the account was vulnerable to hijacking until they sign in again. A bug which meant the names of forums or other nodes a user did not have permission to access may have been exposed by accessing a particular URL. Several XSS vulnerabilities meaning if a malicious user could convince another user to perform particular steps, limited arbitrary JavaScript could be executed. A vulnerability where if using the "Download Member List" feature and opening the file with certain applications, malicious user data could cause expressions to be evaluated.  
And several security improvements:
Any existing sessions for a member are now cleared if they change their password, meaning users signed in on multiple devices will need to sign in again after a password change. A more secure hash generation algorithm is now used for login keys.   
Information for 3rd party developers
ModCpMemberManagement can now return NULL to not display the tab. CKEditor has been updated to 4.5.8.

This is a security release and we recommend all clients upgrade as soon as possible.

This is a security release to fix a number of security related issues.
A vulnerability was recently discovered in ImageMagick, which, depending on your configuration, IPS Community Suite may use manipulate images. This update verifies that images sent to ImageMagick begin with the expected "magic bytes" corresponding to the image file type. We are engaging in a third-party security audit of IPS Community Suite and this update contains a lot of security hardening. Many of these issues are not critical but we do still want to get the updates to you.   
This release only contains security fixes only. 4.1.12 will be our next general maintenance release.

In addition to the ImageMagick fix described above, this update contains fixes for the following issues:
Session hijacking vulnerabilities with unmunged URLs and with referrer leaking  Several XSS vulnerabilities An open redirect vulnerability Under some circumstances, the reputation activity on a user's profile could reveal the titles of hidden content. Under some circumstances, the "post feed" sidebar widget reveal the titles of hidden content. The "Resend Confirmation Email" and "Change Email" buttons which appear when validating, and the "lost password" tool had no rate limiting, which could allow a malicious user to send lots of emails damaging the server's reputation. Uninstalling an application caused Pages pages to lose their sidebar configurations.

Adds the Captcha to the login form on public side.
To change the type of Captcha, go to Admin CP -> Members -> Spam Prevention -> Captcha.
