‘SRK Cried After Aryan Khan Got Bail’: Mukul Rohatgi Shares How The Actor Got Emotional

After it was announced that his son Aryan Khan has finally been granted bail, Shah Rukh Khan couldn’t help but get emotional as the last few weeks have been testing and emotionally draining for him and his family. For almost 26 days, SRK’s son Aryan Khan was in jail and as a father, he was worried about Aryan’s well-being as the details that were shared about his deteriorating health in public were upsetting. Aryan wasn’t eating well and even avoided drinking water in order to avoid using the jail’s toilet.

SRK finally breathed a sigh of relief when the long battle was over and Aryan got bail. Former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi, who represented Aryan in HC, told NDTV that Shah Rukh cried 'tears of joy' after the verdict. Rohatgi added that SRK had 'given up all professional activities' during this time. “Shah Rukh Khan has been extremely worried the last few days that I was there. I am not even sure whether he had proper meals. He was just having coffee after coffee. I could see a big sense of relief in the father's face the last time I met him,” said Mukul Rohatgi.

Rohatgi also told NDTV, "Unfortunately, they lost in the lower court. After that, the case went to the High Court and one month has gone by. The parents were very, very worried. That is why they were taking a very great interest in the case". He went on to add, “Shah Rukh was available throughout. In fact, he was making notes to help the legal team."

On Thursday evening, Aryan Khan's legal team posted a statement and a couple of pictures with Shah Rukh Khan.

In the statement, they wrote, "Aryan Khan has ultimately been released on bail by the High Court. No possession, no evidence, no consumption, no conspiracy, right from the first moment when he was detained on October 2, 2021. Nor is there anything as of now. We are grateful to the almighty that our prayers were accepted by Judge Nitin Sambre and he granted bail to Aryan. Satyameva Jayate."
