Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are reportedly getting hitched on 9 December at a resort in Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur area. While the official announcement is still awaited, the duo is expected to exchange wedding vows in a Hindu ceremony in the presence of their families and close friends. Also, the pre-wedding festivities like the Sangeet and Mehendi ceremonies are slated to take place on 7 and 8 December, respectively.

While everyone was expecting Salman Khan to attend Vicky and Katrina's much-hyped wedding ceremony, his sister Arpita Khan recently revealed that the superstar and his family hasn't yet received the invitation. Well, the reason behind this is out now. As per the latest buzz, the alleged lovebirds have decided that none of their ex-partners will be a part of the big day. 

Revealing the same, sources told BollywoodLife that the soon-to-be-married couple has decided to not extend wedding invite to any of their ex-partners or the people who were linked to them in the past. So, not just Salman, even Ranbir Kapoor and Harleen Sethi are not invited to the marriage ceremony. 

The report states, "This includes not only Salman, who went from being Katrina’s co-star, to mentor, to alleged boyfriend and then friend and guide. Similarly, while she shares a great bond with Alia Bhatt, and it is common to invite people with their partners, the invite hasn’t been extended to Ranbir Kapoor. Likewise, Vicky Kaushal’s ex has been left out of the guest list, even though they share the same friend circle".

To avoid any awkwardness, they have also left out people who are close to their exes. 

For the unversed, Vicky and Katrina are trying their level best to make their wedding a private affair. As reported earlier, they have imposed a no-mobile policy on guests who'll attend the functions. In order to maintain privacy, guests will be asked to not carry their mobile phones during the ceremonies.

Post tying the knot the actors will resume work soon and are not expected to take a long break for their honeymoon. Currently, both of them have several interesting projects in hand. While Vicky's lineup includes films like Govinda Naam Mera and Sam Bahadur. Katrina has Phone Bhoot and Tiger 3 with Salman in her kitty.
