India’s Punjabi ‘kudi’ Harnaaz Sandhu has made the country proud after winning the much coveted Miss Universe title and getting the crown home after a hiatus of 21 years. The Chandigarh girl is winning hearts with her smile, her intelligence and her extremely warm, relatable persona.

However, if one believes in destiny and claims that life gives us signs and hints for things that are about to come our way, then probably Harnaaz had the signs all along. Coincidentally, not many know this but long before she actually started preparing for Miss India, she played a beauty pageant contestant on a show called Udaariyan on Colors.

Harnaaz has also been a part of several Punjabi movies and plans to venture into Bollywood and Hollywood to make movies which leave an impact on the society.
