Almost every celebrity loves to invest in properties and seems like the pandemic hasn't affected the entertainment industry that much. This year, many Bollywood stars have bought expensive houses in different places amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. While for some, it was their first investment in property, for others it was an addition to the long list of their swanky homes. 

Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, and Kangana Ranaut bought some costly properties while Kriti Sanon and newlyweds Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif chose to rent luxurious flats.

Earlier this year, Devgn had reportedly purchased a bungalow for a whopping amount in Mumbai. Spread across 590 sq yards, the bungalow is located near the actor's current bungalow, Shakti. The Bol Bachchan star reportedly bought the property for around 60 crore. The locality also has residences of other Bollywood stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, and Hrithik Roshan.

In February this year, Kangana bought four flats in Chandigarh worth Rs 4 crore for her siblings and cousins. Taking to Twitter, the Tanu Weds Manu actress confirmed the same and expressed that she wants “to encourage people to share their wealth with their family".

The actor, who completed a decade in Bollywood earlier this year, marked the occasion by gifting himself an expensive 4 bedroom-hall-kitchen sky-villa in one of Bandra's posh locales in Mumbai. The actor reportedly bought the flat, which is located near his girlfriend Malaika Arora's house, for a price of Rs 20 crore.

Sunny Leone, who rose to fame in India after participating in Bigg Boss 5 and featured in films like Jism 2 and Ragini MMS 2, bought a flat worth Rs 16 crore in Mumbai's Andheri suburb. The actress reportedly paid a stamp duty of Rs 48 lakh for the flat.

The actress, who is basking in the success of her Netflix film Mimi, is all set to move into her new home –  a duplex apartment in Andheri, Mumbai. The rent for the duplex unit, owned by Amitabh Bachchan, is Rs 10 lakh per month for two years. The Heropanti actress has paid Rs 60 lakh as the security deposit.

Recent reports suggested that the couple, who recently got married in Rajasthan, has rented a love nest for themselves and are expected to move to the apartment very soon. As per the buzz, Vicky and Katrina will be neighbours to Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, who also have two floors in the building. Vicky has paid a security deposit of Rs 1.75 crore 9approx) and the monthly rent for the initial 36 months is Rs 8 lakh.
