From Tiger To Sidharth: 5 Bollywood Celebs Who Got Injured In 2021 While Shooting


Accidents are inevitable while shooting for scenes filled with action or stunts. Many Bollywood celebrities have got injured, time and again, while shooting for such scenes for their films. The injuries can be minor and life-threatening as well and Amitabh Bachchan's Coolie accident was one such example. In the past, many celebrities have got injured while shooting and this year was no different.

As 2021 is coming to an end in a few days, take a look at celebrities who got injured this year while shooting for their films:

Tiger Shroff (Ganapath) View this post on Instagram

Bollywood's young action star, Tiger Shroff, has been shooting in the UK for his much-awaited film Ganapath. During the shoot, he recently incurred an eye injury. Taking to social media, the actor shared the news with fans by posting a selfie with a swollen eye. He seemingly clicked the picture on Ganapath sets and posted it on Instagram. He wrote, "S*** happens (hot face and ninja emoji) #ganapath final countdown". 

Abhishek Bachchan (Oththa Seruppu Size 7 remake) View this post on Instagram

In August this year, Abhishek Bachchan too fractured his hand while shooting in Chennai. Reportedly, he was filming for the remake of Oththa Seruppu Size 7 when he injured his right hand. He even underwent surgery to fix it and resumed shooting after a small break. The Bob Biswas actor had even posted a picture on Instagram in which he was seen with a sling around his right arm.

Sidharth Malhotra (Mission Majnu) View this post on Instagram

Earlier this year, in April, Sidharth Malhotra injured his knee while shooting for an action scene in Lucknow for his upcoming film Mission Majnu. While performing the sequence, he reportedly slipped and hit his knee on a metal piece. The accident left him in pain, however, the Shershaah actor proved his professionalism by resuming the shoot after taking first aid. 

Nushrratt Bharuccha (Janhit Mein Jaari) View this post on Instagram

In Nushrratt Bharuccha's case, a leg injury played a spoilsport when she was shooting for Raaj Shaandilyaa's Janhit Mein Jaari in October this year. She was filming a Holi song sequence when she sprained her leg. The actress wanted to continue the shoot as many crew members were a part of the sequence. However, after a proper check-up, the doctor advised her to take rest for 3-4 days. 

John Abraham (Attack) View this post on Instagram

Bollywood hunk John Abraham, in February 2021, shared an Instagram post revealing that he got hurt while filming an action scene for his upcoming film Attack. In the video, the crew members were seen wiping off blood from his neck. As per reports, the actor was hit by a tube light in the face.

This wasn't the first time when the Welcome Back star got injured on a set. In 2015 too, he suffered a knee injury during the shoot of Force 2.
