Ram Charan is gearing up for the release of his biggest film yet, SS Rajamouli’s RRR. 

Recently, while promoting the film with co-star Jr NTR and film’s director Rajamouli, Ram Charan was asked about what he would say to his former co-stars if he meets them today. 

Among many names that were thrown towards him, one was of his Rangasthalam co-star Samantha Ruth Prabhu. As soon as he heard Samantha’s name, Charan told Bollywood Hungama that he wants the actress to “come back bigger, stronger”.

While he didn’t say directly, it was quite clear that his words of encouragement for Samantha were in response to all that is happening around her divorce from Naga Chaitanya. 

A Twitter user shared the short clip and tagged Samantha in it. Reacting to Ram Charan’s support, she retweeted the video with three heart emojis.

Post her much talked about divorce with Naga Chaitanya, Samantha often found herself at the receiving end of trolling on social media. Trolls have been blaming her for the divorce which is ridiculous. 

In such times, support from a fellow superstar must have definitely helped Samantha cope with tough times. 

In an interview with Filmfare, she talked about her divorce and stated, “I still have to live my life. I know I'm still going to live my life and with all the issues that I now faced in my personal life, I was surprised at how strong I was. I thought I was a much weaker person. I thought that with my separation, I would crumble and die. I didn't think I was capable of being this strong...Today I'm very very proud of how strong I'm because I really didn't know I was”

The actress is currently on a vacation with her friends in Goa. She had recently shared a few pictures of herself in a swimsuit that went viral on social media.

On the work front, Ram Charan is all set to rock the box office with RRR as the film marks SS Rajamouli’s comeback after the mammoth success of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. 

Samantha, on the other hand, was recently seen in a special dance number in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa. She is now rumoured to be on board for Russo Brothers’ Citadel India to be helmed by her The Family Man director duo Raj & DK.
