Let's admit one thing!

Most of the time when we either watch movies or tv shows, the original film or first season is always better than what the sequel film or second season has to offer.

However, with The Family Man Season 2 and the third Spider-Man: No Way Home film proving that this may not always be the case, it is fair to assume that the jury may still be out on shunning away sequels altogether.

Having said that, there are some really exciting Bollywood sequel films that we may get to watch in 2022. Here are some of them:

Akshay Kumar's first Bhool Bhulaiyaa film was a laughter fest while still have serious elements of horror attached to it. 

However, in the second film, we will see Kartik Aaryan replace Akki and he will have the supporting cast of Kiara Advani, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav.

The movie would surely be something exciting for the fans.

Salman Khan just announced that he will indeed be starring in the sequel to the 2005 comedy movie starring Anil Kapoor, Salman, and Fardeen Khan.

The movie will be directed by Aneez Bazmi who would look to bring new elements to film to adapt to changes in the generation of the audiences.

The Badhaai Ho film starring Ayushmann Khurrana was one that really struck a chord with the audiences with its storyline as well as the performances.

The sequel to the film will now have Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles, ensuring that the cast really is a strong one.

Only time will tell whether it will live up to the original or not.

The Housefull series has been a source of constant laughs and Housefull 5 may be another one. The movie is reported to have a strong cast of Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and others.

Reports suggest that the idea for the plot has been locked in, with further information coming in the near future.
