'I Didn't Even Care', Nidhhi Had A Ridiculously 'Unfair' Movie Contract Clause Unlike Tiger

Bollywood actress Nidhhi Agerwal, who made her debut with Munna Michael back in 2017 along with Bollywood's then new action man Tiger Shroff, had a reportedly different clause in her contract for the film.

The film, which was directed by Sabbir Khan, starred Nidhhi as a dancer and also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

According to reports, while both Nidhhi and Tiger played lead roles in the film, that didn't somewhat reflect in their respective contracts.

Apparently, this was because of there being a 'No Dating' clause in the contracts.

Now, while Nidhhi's movie contract had that clause, it was reported that Tiger's did not, with the conditions being different for both of them.

On asked whether she actually ended up signing the contract, Nidhhi said,

“I did. But clearly, I am not very good at reading contracts and signing them as I explained to you before, but yeah, I did.”

Now, for an outsider, the contract would seem unfair, especially when a co-star at the same level is not bound by something similar.

Nidhhi was asked whether she too felt that it was an 'unfair' condition.

However, the actress replied that she 'didn't care' about it.

“I just didn’t even care. I was so happy that I have gotten a film. I was like, ‘Wow, I have become a heroine.’ I didn’t care about anything. For me, just the fact that I have gotten my film was everything.” said Nidhhi.

Even in 2016, when the movie was released, Munna Michael producer Viki Rajani was asked about the same, to which he explained exactly why the conditions for both were different.

“Tiger is already a star while this is Nidhhi’s launch film. She is a bright girl and we don't want her to get distracted. Sabbir (Khan, director) and I have seen real potential in her and this will do her good,” he said.

He was later asked whether he thought it was sexist.

To which the producer replied that Nidhhi wasn't made to sign the contract ‘at gunpoint’.

Sounds fair to you?

On the work front, while Nidhhi is working in Tamil and Telugu cinema, Tiger will next be seen along with Akshay Kumar in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan 2.
