After the grand success of Allu Arjun’s Telugu film, Pushpa: The Rise in Hindi, the studio behind the Hindi dubbed version of his 2020 Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo decided to release the dubbed version in theatres in the hope to cash in on the huge popularity of their lead star.
Soon, a controversy erupted where the makers of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo's Hindi remake Shehzada starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon were left in a fix.
If the Hindi dubbed version works, there were high chances the Hindi remake would have suffered badly at the box office.
