After Ananya, Vijay Devarakonda Might Work With This Star-Daughter In Puri Jagannadh's Next


Vijay Devarakonda is among the most popular stars of the South Indian film industry. After making his presence felt in the regional cinema, the actor is set to enter Bollywood with the pan-India release Liger. Produced by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects, Liger is a sports action film that is expected to simultaneously release in Telugu and Hindi along with the dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the much-awaited project stars Ananya Panday opposite Devarakonda.

As per the latest buzz, Devarakonda and Jagannadh might reunite soon post Liger. After Ananya, there are chances that the actor might team up with another Bollywood star-daughter who is already making her mark in the Hindi film industry. 

According to rumours from Tollywood film circles, the director will team up with Vijay for his upcoming project. This time, the filmmaker is reportedly mulling casting Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. Yes, you read that right!

However, the filmmaker and both Vijay and Janhvi are yet to react to the speculations. Hence, nothing is confirmed.

For the unversed, Janhvi in 2019, during an interview, had revealed that she has a crush on the Dear Comrade star post which rumours were rife that the actress will unite with Vijay for his Bollywood debut. However, at last, Ananya was finalised for Liger.

On the career front, Vijay Devarakonda rose to fame after playing the titular role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Arjun Reddy (Telugu) which was released in 2017. Currently, he's waiting for the release of Liger. It is slated to hit the theatres later this year, on August 25.
