Ever since the trailer of Gangubai Kathiawadi dropped, people have been counting days to see Alia in that intense, never before seen avatar. She has already managed to mesmerize fans through her dialogues, but she just took it to a whole other level post the release of the song 'Dholida'.

While people expected it to be a chartbuster track courtesy Mr Bhansali and his unbeatable track record of Garba music, what came as an absolute surprise, was Alia's proficiency as a dancer. Alia has always been a good dancer, that's common knowledge, but after this song, she definitely is going to be counted amongst the 'greats'. Confused? Check out the full song here.

While it started out as another great Garba track just like the incomparable 'Nagada Sang Dhol' from Raam-Leela, Alia claimed the song for her own, from the 1.37 mark. She starts to make Garba rotations, and ends up doing 30 odd turns non-stop, in a single take without cuts. That is a feat which is extremely difficult, even for trained Garba dancers - especially when the rest of the background dancers have taken a pause and the entire focus is only on her.

From a fitness perspective, one needs a deadly combination of stamina, balance, and raw strength to pull off something like that, and Alia clearly has trained like a beast for this one sequence. Hats off! Here are some of the Twitter reactions where people agree with us.
