Bollywood actress Kajol, who was last seen in the Netflix film Tribhanga, has purchased two new apartments in the Ananya Building in Mumbai's Juhu. 

Months ago, her husband Ajay Devgn too had bought a swanky new bungalow in Juhu for a whopping amount of Rs 60 crore.

According to Squarefeetindia, the Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge star has bought the two flats on the 10th floor of the Ananya building. 

Reportedly, the combined cost of the flats is more than most of our yearly incomes. Yes, you read that right! Kajol has bought the two properties at a combined cost of Rs 11.95 crore.

According to reports, the transaction took place last month. The carpet area of both flats is said to be around 2000 square feet. The property is in the same neighbourhood as Shiv Shakti, her current home. 

Talking about Ajay Devgn's bungalow, the superstar bought the property last year which is spread across 590 sq yards. The deal was finalised in November 2020 and the bungalow was transferred in the name of Veena Virendra Devgan, Ajay's mother, in May 2021. 

On the Bollywood front, Kajol's last big-screen release was Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior which was produced by Ajay Devgn with Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. Devgn also played the titular role in the film which was released in 2020 and turned out to be the biggest hit of the year.  

Kajol will next be seen in Salaam Venky, which was earlier titled The Last Hurrah. Directed by Revathy, the film recently went on the floors. It is said to be based on a true story that revolves around a mother, who battled the most complex circumstances.  

It is produced by Suuraj Sinngh, Shraddha Agrawal, and Varsha Kukreja and other details of the upcoming movie are still under wraps.
