Everyone’s favourite shark for various reasons, Ashneer Grover surprised us all after he resigned as founder and MD of BharatPe today. "I write this with a heavy heart as today I am being forced to bid adieu to a company of which I am a founder. I say with my head held high that today this company stands as a leader in the fintech world. Since the beginning of 2022, unfortunately, I’ve been embroiled in baseless and targeted attacks on me and my family by a few individuals who are ready not only to harm me and my reputation but also harm the reputation of the company, which ostensibly they are trying to protect,” his resignation letter reads.

BharatPe has been a strong competition in the UPI space for portals like  PayTM, PhonePe and GooglePay. The resignation comes in days after his wife Madhuri Jain Grover accused senior management of unprofessional behaviour and was let gone as head of controls herself.

The internet is trying to cope with this information  and social media is filled with memes and advices for the guy.

Ashneer had earlier gone on a leave following an audio clip of him abusing a Kotak employee for missing the allotment of the Nykaa IPO. While the resignation is surprising for his fans , it's obvious that it’s a calculated move which he took after concluding the best outcome for the situation he was swimming in.
