Zack Snyder Beats MCU To Win Both Of Oscars' Fan-Favourite Awards & Marvel Fans Are Shocked

For the first time in the history of Oscars, The Academy announced two popular awards namely, Fan-Favourite Film and Most Cheer-Worthy Moment. And the winners of the two awards were to be decided via voting on Twitter.

As soon as the awards were announced, it was assumed by a majority of people on social media that at least one of these belong to Spider-Man: No Way Home considering the movie brought together the three different versions of Spider-Man and also the fact that it’s a pretty entertaining film.

However, all those fans were in for a shock when Zack Snyder won both the popular choice awards with his two films - the controversial and troubled Zack Snyder’s Justice League and Netflix’s Army of the Dead.

In the Most Cheer-Worthy Moments category, MCU was at second and third spots. Check out the top five list below:

1. The Flash Enters the Speed Force, Zack Snyder's Justice League

2. The Three Spider-Men Unite, Spider-Man: No Way Home

3. Avengers Assemble to Fight Thanos, Avengers: Endgame

4. And I'm Telling You", Dreamgirls

5. Neo Dodges Bullets, The Matrix

No points in guessing, Snyder fans are over the moon while MCU fans are in shock!

Reacting to Spider-Man: No Way Home losing, one fan wrote, “Second…? I’m sorry… second? I don’t even remember many other exciting moments. How did this film not get the love it deserves? #SpiderManNoWayHome”.

Another wrote, “this is a joke! HOW ON EARTH WOULD NO WAY HOME LOSE TO CINDERELLA AND MINAMATA (whatever that is).”

And this is why we have professional critics, otherwise the movies with the likes of Shawn Mendes and Snyder’s fanboys end up winning stuff they don’t deserve in the first place

#Oscars YOU mean to tell me that #SpiderManNoWayHome didn’t win an Oscar tonight? Shameful!

It’s true. Spider Man fans had their chance, Snyder fans just support their idols better & unfortunately for Spidey fans, that’s the truth. https://t.co/dvsF3V7GTQ
