Jose Antonio used to be an electrician in Spain, but depression hit him hard, after which he lost everything he had. He ended up on the street and managed to make just enough money for food to survive by working as an unlicensed parking attendant in Majorca.

One day, Jose was invited for a makeover by Salva Garcia, the owner of a hair salon that was close to where Jose worked. And what a transformation it was!

Watch this incredible video of Jose turning into a hipster from a homeless guy in a matter of few minutes.

Just before the cut and colour, Jose said, “Leave the doors over the mirror open for the moment so I can see myself for the last time like this.

"Then close them to see if when they open again, it's as if something else really opened up in my life, like a symbol."

When he actually saw his new look, he literally could not hold back tears!

And he wasn’t the only one who was surprised by the amazing transformation. As soon as he stepped out, people who were used to seeing him look completely dishevelled for so long couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw this new man.

The best part is that apparently Jose is also now off the streets after getting some financial help from a company. Looks like humanity isn’t dead, after all.
