It's that time of the year when the entire world gets ready for Apple's new products. Last night the company sent an invitation to journalists and analysts to an event at the Apple park. Apple is expected to announce three iPhone models, a new Apple Watch and refreshed iPads. 

The new iPhones are expected to have a similar design to the iPhone X but will come in three different sizes and new colours. Having said that, the company has accidentally revealed an official image of the upcoming phones as discovered by 9to5Mac. Infallible leaker Guilherme Rambo got a hand of these images which also confirms the new colour.

The image shows two iPhones i.e. the second generation iPhone X successor and a new Plus model that will have a 6.5-inch screen. The new gold colour was also spotted in the same image which was previously leaked last year via FCC but never launched officially.

However, the real mystery has always been what Apple will name the iPhones. “We believe that the new 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch iPhones will both be called iPhone XS,” says Rambo. This is in line with Apple's strategy to call their next generation of iPhones with the 'S' suffix and we can expect to see some incremental upgrades in the current generation. 

The third iPhone's name has not been revealed yet, however, we can expect it to be called the 'iPhone 9' or simply 'iPhone'. The smartphone is expected to be cheaper and is also anticipated to be Apple's most successful smartphone yet. The low-pricing will be beneficial for the company in markets like India and China. There aren't any pricing details known for the new iPhones; however, we can draw a conclusion from reports published by top analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. According to Kuo, the 6.1-inch LCD model will be priced at $600-$700 while the 5.8-inch iPhone XS will cost between $700-800. The more expensive iPhone XS Plus will be the costliest model of them all and is touted to start at $999.
