Bollywood likes to party, and when the excuse is as legit as a movie being as well-received as 'Simmba' at the Box-Office, that turns into a 'bash'. It happened, and all our favourite action stars got together to celebrate it. (When was the last time you saw Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn in the same frame?)

Now, when Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar are present at an event together, naturally, one would assume that no one else has a chance in terms of outfit and footwear. This time though, our very own Mr Khiladi played the game better than them. While Karan's Gucci platform sneakers and Ranveer's playful orange shoes (Yeezys? They're partially hidden) tried their best, they couldn't match up to Akki's black and white statement boots.

Akshay has always been extremely minimal in terms of his style statement, but clearly knows how to once in a while throw in statement pieces and make it work like a charm. His outfit is extremely demure, but those high boots add the much needed dimension that spells 'functional fashion'.

We're in love with the faux leather finish, plus that white toe cap and sole. All we can say is, simplicity never fails to make a statement and Akki plays that game better than anyone else
