So when Ranveer showed up at Soho house with a bunch of other celebrities, he definitely made a statement we can't disagree with!

Ranveer was spotted wearing a Gucci Logo sweatshirt which is normal (our normal is definitely not his normal, TBH) for him but still costs a whopping 980 USD which converts to Rs. 69,751 only. NBD, right? But his shoes are what caught our attention the most.

He can be seen wearing the Adidas Pharrell Williams  X BYW shoes. This is one of the 'Chinese New Year' celebration shoes launched by Adidas in January '19. Seems like our lad got a hand on these babies pretty early, huh?

The unique collection is inspired by traditional Chinese New Year colour scheme of red and yellow with a red prime-knit upper covered in a fish scale-like embroidered pattern in yellow and gold detailing. Bold 'AMBITION' print runs on the forefoot, which is Pharrell's signature style of having motivational text on his collaborative shoes. Rad AF, aren't they?

The shoe retails for 380 USD which is around Rs. 27,099, which is pretty cheap considering the hype around this shoe. Why the fish scales, you ask? There's a reason for everything. In Chinese culture, fish represents abundance, and a fish dish at dinner is an integral part of the festivities during Chinese New Year. Ranveer's shoes have a pattern inspired by fish scales from the dinner dish! We're getting hungry!
