Anand Mahindra is not only one of the richest people of the country, but he also sits on the goldmine of inspiration, funny and entertaining things and everything in between. We're talking about his Twitter account and his over 6 million followers can vouch for the same.
Recently, Mahindra proved once again that he is not only one of the richest businessmen, but also the coolest and possibly the funniest amongst his counterparts.
In case you missed it, Mahindra-owned Italian carmaker Automobili Pininfarina unveiled its luxury electric 'hypercar' Battista at the Geneva Motor Show, on Tuesday.
For those of you who asked for a better view of the car. This white #Battista is on display at the @PininfarinaSpA site. The blue was my favourite but I now think the white is even more stunning.. Watch when you have a leisurely couple of minutes... Don't fast forward. Savour it! pic.twitter.com/1iH5yt8oTk— anand mahindra (@anandmahindra) March 6, 2019
Priced at around $2 million, the Battista is considered to be faster than a Formula 1 car. Well, no matter how fast a car is, desi people have only one concern when it comes to cars - "kitna deti hai?"
Sir, kitna deti hai? ð— Drop C Riffs (@vox_assamanipur) March 6, 2019
We're not kidding, this was exactly what someone asked on Twitter for Battista. But, being the king of wits that Mahindra is, he answered the query in the sassiest way possible.
He wrote, "Sirji, electric hai..Shock deti hai! (It's electric... it'll give a shock)"
Sirji, electric hai..Shock deti hai!
People were left in splits after reading his epic reply and as expected, showered him with praises for his wit.
According to reports, the Battista is said to be the first hypercar which is ultra-light and ultra-fast. According to Pininfarina, only 150 Battistas will be made, each with a 1,900 horsepower engine that can go from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in less than two seconds.
