Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India and its first sale is scheduled for March 13. We've been using the phone for a few days now and it sure gives the competition a run for their money.
The Note 7 Pro's starting price has been fixed at Rs 13,999 for the 64GB variant and Rs 16,999 for the 128GB variant. What's so special about this phone? We've made a list of things we love about the phone.

Xiaomi has been teasing the 48MP camera for months and it is the main highlight of the phone. The rear has a Sony IMX586 sensor paired along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera. Thanks to the high resolution, pictures have an incredible amount of detail. For low-light pictures, four pixels are merged into one and a 12-megapixel picture is created that has lower more detail and sharpness.2. Camera Software:
Using AI, not only can the phone add a bokeh effect but also completely change the background into 6 presets. After a preset is applied, you can also further change the type of lighting overlay. This opens up the option of having much more customization and using the same depth sensor, newer edits can be applied.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro has an all-glass design with a gradient finish. The company says it has used a 6-layer process to add the gradient finish and it is available in Neptune Blue, Nebula Red, and Classic Space Black. Not only has Xiaomi built the phone like a beast from the inside, but also equally stunning from the outside.4. MIUI 10:
The phone ships out of the box with MIUI 10 (Android Pie) and brings in gesture support, picture-in-picture mode, new recent menu, and AI performance enhancements. Thanks to the faster processor, the experience is even more smooth and refreshing.

The phone has a 6.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and features a smaller notch on the top. Xiaomi has further cut down on bezels and it also gets a 2.5D curved glass. The screen-to-body ratio has been improved to 81.4 per cent.6. Faster Processor:
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor built on TSMC's 11nm manufacturing process. The device comes with an Adreno 612 GPU. The new SoC employs software “gaming enhancements” that promise up to 90 per cent fewer stutters. Qualcomm enables the hardware and software to support both bokeh (portrait modes) and HDR shots in a single shot.7. Battery:
It has a 4000mAh battery and the phone finally ships with USB-C. The phone supports Quick Charge 4 but it comes bundled with a 10W charger. The battery is sufficient to get you through a day's heavy usage.
