G Balakrishna seems like an ordinary 25-year-old guy, except the fact that he is not. He is termed as the ‘Arnold Schwarzenegger Of Whitfield’ and has won the title of ‘Mr. Asia’ 2016 at the Phil-Asia bodybuilding championships held in Philippines.  He also claimed the ‘Mr. Universe Under-24’ junior title in Germany and won the ‘Mr. Universe’ title at the world championship in 2014, in Athens.

He lost his father at a young age and as a result, he became a water tanker driver to earn his daily bread. However, he never had the privilege to work on his body at his own sweet will, but like they say, where there is a will, there is a way. G . Balakrishna ensures that he practises for six hours a day at home. He is even trained by Sangram Chougla from Mumbai and Munish Kumar from Punjab.

In an interview to ‘The Hindu’, he said, “I am maintaining my position with a rich daily diet that includes 750 g of chicken, 25 eggs, 300 g of rice, 200 g of vegetables along with fish for extra protein and fruits”. His major struggle is the lack of funds right now but he is not giving up his passion for anything in the world.
