If you are a serious gamer who likes to game on the go, then your options are pretty much limited to a gaming laptop. Yes, gaming laptops are getting powerful by the day, but there's no match to a full-blown gaming rig. Desktops usually outperform their laptop counterparts, and that's exactly why unEvn wants you to check out its portable gaming desk.
Called the unEvn ONE, it's essentially a portable gaming desk with a built-in computer chassis, integrated monitor mount, and more. Yes, the company wants you to take your professional gaming rig wherever you go. Here, check out the video -
The unEvn ONE has a built-in mini ITX chassis in which you can add a motherboard, processor, power supply, up to four SSDs, and a GPU. Not just that, the desk also has an adjustable gas spring monitor arm, which can support can support a 32-inch monitor.
Additionally, the unEvn ONE also has a curved front edge for added comfort, lockable drawer, and a durable and impact-resistant polycarbonate textured surface for optimal mouse usage. Oh, did I tell you it also features electric height adjustment to accommodate different chair sizes and body heights? Yes, trust me when I say this thing was built for serious gamers.
So, what exactly makes this thing portable? Well for starters, unEvn says that you can fold the desk in about a minute by pressing a pair of buttons. The desk's leg folds up inside, whereas the desk itself folds in half. It also has a storage compartment for your monitor (25-inch or smaller). Of course, you also get a bunch I/O ports to connect all your peripherals.
Once folded, the unEvn ONE comes in just at 32″ x 24″ x 8″ and weighs anywhere between 25-33kg depending on how crazy you decide to go with the internal components. Although don't go too hard on the components since you'll be carrying the desk like a backpack.
The unEvn ONE is currently looking to raise $40,000 on Kickstarter with 34 days to go. The anticipated retail price of this beast of a gaming desk is $2,499, but there are some Super Early Bird deals left that can shave off up to 50-per cent of that price.
