On Tuesday, around 11 AM, a time when most of us were either waking up or getting ready or stuck in traffic; PM Modi was busy writing a tweet that was about to shake the nation to its core, the moment he clicked the post button. 

He wrote this, "I would be addressing the nation at around 11:45 AM - 12.00 noon with an important message. Do watch the address on television, radio or social media." This tweet sent everyone into a frenzy and reminded them of the day when PM Modi suddenly announced Demonetisation. 

Panic amongst public rose to another level when PM Modi didn't turn up at 11:45 to make the announcement, and he was half an hour late.

If you're wondering why we're talking about it now. Well, that's because we were standing in a queue outside the ATM near our office. Don't lie, you too checked your wallet and your bank balance,right? Jokes apart, the announcement had nothing to do with Demonetisation, so your money is safe.

In the journey of every nation there are moments that bring utmost pride and have a historic impact on generations to come.

PM Modi's special announcement was about 'Mission Shakti', an operation under which an Indian-made anti-satellite weapon called A-SAT shot down a live satellite on a low earth orbit. In fact, with this India has become the fourth country after Russia, the US and China to get this technology.

Well, this is indeed a remarkable achievement for the nation, but by this time, Twitter was not even bothered about it because they were busy ranting and cracking jokes on demonetisation and PM Modi. And in all honesty, these memes and jokes are so funny that they are actually better than PM Modi's speech.
