For a team that made a sensational comeback last season, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) appear to be on-track for glory as they continue to go past one opponent after another in the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 'Yellow Brigade' had already recorded four wins out of their five games this season when a big test awaited them at the MA Chidambaram stadium against table-toppers Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 9th April.

Many had doubts over Chennai's ability to overcome KKR and, more importantly, halt the menacing Andre Russell who seems to be in a class of his own this season. But, in front of the home crowd, Chennai once again proved why they are three-time IPL champions. Handing the visitors only their second loss this season, Chennai didn't just managed to contain Russell (in their own capacity), but eventually pulled off an emphatic seven-wicket triumph to bolster their title defence.

The victory, derived under the leadership of pragmatic skipper MS Dhoni and on the back of a collective team effort, propelled CSK to the top spot with 10 points in their kitty. For the way it panned out, Chennai's win wasn't really hard-fought but such is the IPL schedule that it barely allows the cricketers to rest.

Following his team's triumph, MS Dhoni's social media post, the very next morning, showed how difficult it is for these cricketers to keep up with the pace of the tournament. With their next clash against Rajasthan Royals (RR) scheduled to be played on 11th April, Dhoni and his teammates barely had any time for a breather as they boarded a morning flight to Jaipur from Chennai.

With the game against KKR finishing off in the wee hours, Dhoni was visibly short on sleep which probably explains why he was seen sleeping on the airport floor alongside his wife Sakshi. In a post that he shared on Instagram, Dhoni and his wife were seen catching some sleep on the airport floor with their kit bag playing the role of a pillow. "After getting used to IPL timing this is what happens if u have a morning flight," the CSK skipper captioned the photo.

The same picture was also shared on the official Twitter handle of CSK and the cricket fans couldn't stop themselves from praising MSD and Sakshi for their humility.
